David Bailey’s “Aerospace Industry Flight Deck – Turbulence in Civil Aerospace” – May 2020

I wanted to use this presentation to provide the audience with an overview of the status of the global Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on the global financial markets. It was then interesting to compare and contrast how the pandemic was impacting the share prices of a number of the Commercial Aerospace and Defence Primes such as Airbus, Boeing, BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) provides the most credible data for how aircraft orders might be impacted by the pandemic. This data is presented and with additional press stories is developed into the authors view of how the pandemic will impact aircraft orders across the short, medium and long terms.
